Mir3 Beta Phase1 Patch 2
On the 22nd Of September we are Introducing the second patch to Mir3. This is the Mystery Ship and forms the second part of the Evils Illusions story arc.
There are several new quests / NPC's / Maps and Items. These should give you all a fairly good challenge as well as a few surprises.
Provided this goes OK then we are on track to implement the 3rd patch Judgement of blood prior to the commencement of Phase2 Open Beta.
In addition we are also applying the next round of Bug fixes and some translation work. We would like to thank you all for the bug reports and constructive feedback we are receiving. Several changes have been made to the internal processes to further improve things.
The new client is currently under test by the “Alpha” testers on our development server and all is looking OK for it to be released along with the Phase2 beta program. IN addition the work on Nprotect is nearing completion and it should be released at the same time.
Additional work has been completed on the Website to enable HTTPS and secure communications as well as some structural changes to the servers to resolve the problems we were having with the registration process.
As for the timeframe for phase 2 we are currently looking at October but no exact date. The reason for this delay is that we are unhappy with certain things in the game and are working with Wemade to fix them. Once we have finished this work we will commence Phase2 as soon as possible.
BT have finished the engineering work they have been doing on the data centre to improve performance and at this time we have no reported issues with latency or congestion. If you are still having problems with this then please let us know.
